Professional Engineer review support

Prepared for review. Clear on responsibility.

Some projects require a licensed Professional Engineer to exercise final engineering judgment and issue a signed or sealed deliverable. Marin Design Engineering can prepare and coordinate the technical documentation that supports that review.

01

Design package

Drawings, models, dimensions, notes, BOMs, field information and design intent are organized into a reviewable package.

02

PE review

The responsible licensed Professional Engineer reviews the technical basis, identifies required calculations or changes and exercises engineering judgment.

03

Redline closure

Comments are incorporated, revisions are tracked and the package is returned for final review.

04

Final approval

When a seal or signed engineering approval is required, it is issued by the responsible licensed PE—not represented as an MDE seal unless a properly licensed PE is specifically engaged in that role.
